Fall 2012 Canadian Rockies Photo Tour Results — David J Wright
Continuing on with the theme of results from the Fall 2012 Photo Tour, today we have the “fave five” images from group member David J. Wright. David came into the tour with some specific goals, and I was pleased to hear that he found they were all met and then some. It was a hoot watching him really get into each location, each day. I remember hearing him say over & over: “It just doesn’t stop, does it?” David, you’re exactly right! For the creative eye & mind, the opportunity to make interesting photographs doesn’t stop. 🙂 And it has more to do with an enthusiastic & willing approach to really see what each place has to offer, rather than just relying on what is “out there” to offer up gorgeous settings with no effort on the part of the photographer.
Having said that, on occasions like that fantastic sunset or any number of other awesome situations that were offered up to us, it pays to be ready to capitalize on good fortune. As the saying goes, chance favors the prepared mind. 😉
Like we saw with Craig’s set in the last post, David has opted to share a combination of grand views and small details from across the many locations & subjects we worked with. Check them out below. David is also present on Flickr, and is posting images into the photo stream for the Fall 2012 Photo Tour At Aurum Lodge group.
