Spring 2012 Canadian Rockies Photo Tour Results — Valentina Furukawa

I’ve just returned from my first trip to Iceland. While I was over there, my laptop died on me and so I wasn’t able to get this posted sooner. But without further delay, here we have the first results from the participants in the Spring 2012 Photo Tour at Aurum Lodge.

When Valentina Furukawa arrived, she said one of her goals was to push out of her photography comfort zone in various ways. This was a brave statement, and also the right kind of goal to come with, in my opinion. Our tours involve a bunch of enthusiastic photographers intensely soaking up every ounce of light and opportunity during several long days. 🙂 But those who really stretch and invest themselves in taking advantage will get the most out of the event. So cheers, Valentina — it was great to see you expand your comfort zone as well as to get some images that were right up your alley!
